UGC elite amateurs fight for semi final spots

Golf. The annual in-house Kitante Club Championship and Kitante Cup take center stage today with the last men standing in the fray at the par-72 course.

With the reigning champion Davis Kashaka already out of contention, the quarter-finalists of Kitante Club Championship will fancy their chances of reaching the last four. In the Kitante Cup, all eyes will be on Uganda Golf Club captain Charles Katarikawe as he chases a coveted semifinal berth. Katarikawe’s match against Robert Lim Lim is expected to attract special attention.
