Two sets of brothers will be the centre of attention when the National MX Championship final takes place at the Uganda Motorsports Arena, Busiika on Sunday.

Alistair, one of the Bick brothers, goes into the last round of the MX65cc class with 418 points, just five ahead of defending champion Ali Omar. The champion’s brother, Wazir Omar, is 60 points off the pace but can still spring a surprise win.

Although Paddy Blick is out of contention with only 178 points to his name, he might still have a big say in the race by trying to help his elder brother, Alistair.

“We don’t have team orders but you need to have strategy. I am sure the Omar’s are also looking in that direction,” Arthur Blick Jr, backing his sons to excel, said.

Ali Omar Senior is confident his son Omar will retain the title. “My sons can handle the pressure,” Omar said.
