Arthur Blick Junior will need to call on his old fox tricks in order to win a record 10th National MX1 title.

The veteran rider leads the MX1 standings with 398 points, 48 ahead of youngster Maxime Van Pee going into the final round of the national championship at Busiika on Sunday.

Third-placed Barak Orland trails Blick by 50 points, implying all the top three still have a chance to claim the title.
“I won’t take anything for granted,” Blick said. “I have to work for every point in the three heats on Sunday to achieve my dream of a 10th title.”

Van Pee has been the most consistent rider in MX1 of late and if he turns up in a competitive mood, Blick will have a very tough fight on his hands. But as the leading trio fights for the title, fans will be treated to thrilling tricks from three foreign guest riders in African champion Sean Mitchell (Zimbabwe) and Latvians - Davis Ivanovs and Gundars Guasis.

The foreigners showed fans a glimpse of what they are capable of during a sprint at Lubiri last Sunday.
