Kampala.

Ali ‘Bobo’ Omar says he is on a mission to reclaim the MX125cc title this season. The teenage sensational who drives a Baggy, was speaking to the Daily Monitor ahead of the Mountain Dew 3rd round of the national MX championship set for Busiika this Sunday.
Bobo won the title in 2016 before surrendering it to perennial rival Alestair Blick last season.
Bobo said the third round has come at a best possible time .
“I want to use the holiday season to train hard and get back to my best,” he said.
He added: “The absence of Aviv Orland gives me an opportunity to dominate the category and consolidate the lead in the championship.”
Bobo has not trained on the bike since the regional championship on Easter Sunday but he did take part in the Baggy championship in Ssese Island last month in which he came second. “I am working on my speed now on the new track.”
Bobo still rides a KTM model 2016 and his dad Ali Omar Snr is confident he will perform. “We have worked on the bike and the spare parts arrived last week. The bike is almost ready,” he explained.
