Kampala. KSPG’s unbeaten domestic run came to an humiliating end at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo last Thursday.
The Kisenyi side faced Typhoons looking to extend their run to 7 games. KSPG never looked like reaching that mark as the Buddo boys dictated the proceedings all evening.
The scoring was opened in the second half by youth international Samuel Kato, who fired low into the net from the edge of the box before Ivan Kakumba added a second from the penalty spot. KSPG had been undefeated since the season began and they seemed unstoppable. They had squeezed results but had looked shaky in recent weeks, requiring a last-minute goal to beat Sauna 5-4 the previous week.
