New Fufa spokesperson Ahmed Hussein has promised to improve the working relationship between the soccer body and sports journalists.
“I know some things have not been going right. I will try to create a harmonious environment for the two parties for the better of football in Uganda,” Hussein revealed yesterday shortly after being confirmed as a replacement for Rogers Mulindwa who was forced out of the job last week.

Former Uganda Sports Press Association (Uspa) secretary general Hussein ended his illustrious journalism career last year to concentrate on sports marketing and public relations. He currently heads Ham Agency, company that runs PR work for several sports bodies.

He feels the Fufa job will help him gain more experience and help him give his input towards football development. “I love football and sports at large,” Hussein revealed. “I know I have a lot to offer, especially in regards to the development of football. That’s why I accepted this position.”
