A brand new Jeep Cherokee for the overall winners?
It is the question on everyone’s lips among the golfing faithful at the par-72 Uganda Club (UGC) Kitante course as everyone gears up for tomorrow’s MTN Business Golf Day tournament.
Being the financiers of the oldest club competition; The Monthly Mug for the last five years and having taken over the Ladies Club Nites competitions – now dubbed ‘Yellow Fridays’ since last month, MTN’s latest offer for its corporate and business partners has seen a bevy of golfers swarm the course to polish their skills ahead of the second edition of what has now become an annual meet.
“The prize (Jeep Cherokee) is at stake for the overall winners,” confirmed MTN Chief Marketing Officer Ernst Fonternel. “It is a day dedicated to give our corporates a chance of exchanging ideas while enjoying a game of golf.”
