KAMPALA- Two strikers will look to continue munching the headlines when the Azam Uganda Premier League enters match day two today.

A myriad of storylines including the Eastern derby between newcomers Kirinya-Jinja SS and JMC Hippos, Vipers and SC Villa’s eagerness to quickly get to winning ways against Police and Sadolin Paints, as well as formerly banned Sam Ssimbwa’s first game as Soana coach headline another eight matches.

Each of the eight venues is a candidate for a tell-tale. But if we are to let the opening day script guide us, Wankulukuku – where defending champions KCCA face off with Lweza -, and Phillip Omondi Stadium at Lugogo, host to Proline and Express, have two men with a mission. Both are returning to their former footballing homes.

Herman Wasswa –brace hero in Express’ 2-1 opening day victory over Lweza – leads the Red Eagles’ attack against Proline at Lugogo while Geoffrey Sserunkuma is determined to add to his one goal when KCCA tackle his former side, Lweza, at Wankulukuku.

“We will be friends off the field but enemies on the pitch,” Sserunkuma told his club website.
At Lugogo, where Proline host Express, former KCCA striker – Wasswa - made his season mission clear.

“I want to be the league top scorer this season to show my former club (KCCA) what they missed in sending me away,” he said.
