Six trophies out of seven final appearances already sit in Vision Volleyball Camp’s (VVC) trophy cabin in their maiden season. With the NSSF Volleyball League and National Club Championships still available, the number could reach nine.

Though tactician and owner Hanington Nsubuga believes the Namboole-based side has already achieved beyond their expectation. “The first season was all about building a team that would not only compete but also dominate in the subsequent seasons,” he once told Daily Monitor.

“But lady luck has been on our side in terms of success in our first season,” Nsuguba added.
VVC have the Makerere, Nkumba, Kampala International University and Jinja Open Tournaments to showoff.

They have also lifted the Joan Cox Memorial and Dr Aporu Okol International Volleyball Championships.

VVC also finished fourth in the Rwanda Genocide Memorial Volleyball Tournament, the first time they were taking part in a tournament outside Uganda. “I was blown away with the performance of my team, many of those players were playing at this stage for the very first time,”

“Making it this far is testimony that really hard work pays off,” Nsubuga praised his team.
VVC were also losing finalists to Rwanda Revenue Authority in the NSSF-KAVC International last month.
