KAMPALA.

After masterminding baby Cranes’ 23-12 assault on Senegal in the U-19 Confederation of Africa Rugby (CAR) tier B semifinal at Kyadondo on Wednesday, mercurial flyhalf has now set his sight on Saturday’s opponents Madagascar.
Magomu was behind the side’s brilliant display, scoring 13 of the 23 points and also setting up center Edwin Kayima for a try in the first half. He scored a try, two penalties and a converted once to help his side make the finals.
“I enjoyed the game against Senegal especially in the first half when the backline was being fed with ball unlike in the second half where we were starved of the ball,” he said.
The flyhalf believes Saturday’s final against Madagascar will be very tough but Uganda will come out on top at the end of the day.
Madagascar whitewashed Zambia 43-00 under soggy conditions following a heavy downpour. The islanders displayed exceptional support play in offence.
“Madagascar are a strong unit but if we get out tactics right, we shall beat them.”
