KAMPALA-With Protectors having secured their Bamburi Rugby Super Series (BRSS) spot last weekend when they beat Crocs in the Protector Rugby Series, the pressure will shift to Crocs and Magicians who have the chance to grab the second spot when the final group games get underway today.

Second placed Crocs take on Magicians who are placed third on the log in early kick off at Kyadondo.

A draw will do for Crocs while Magicians need nothing less than a win to join Protectors as Uganda’s representatives in the 2014 BRSS. “We were impressive against Fimbo last week,” said Magicians coach O’Brian Tindy.

“Crocs are a more experienced side but the boys know what is at stake and I am confident of getting a positive result.”

Meanwhile Fimbo who had theirwinger David Kakuba undergo surgery earlier this week come into their encounter against Protectors with nothing but pride to fight for as they are out of contention to make the top two.

The top two franchises will go head to head in a final next weekend to determine who bags the trophy and prize money. The winner will pocket Shs4m.
The runner-up will take Shs3m with the third-placed finisher settling for Shs2m and the last getting a Shs1m consolation.
