KAMPALA.

The last 22 league titles have either ended up at Betway Kobs or Hima Heathens since Impis ran away with the 1996 edition.
It will definitely not be the same this year; none of the two will be champions seeing how Buzz Pirates are inches away from claiming their first ever title.
Five points separate the two powehouses in the Nile Special Premiership with hosts Kobs ahead in third on 55 points while Heathens lie just below them on 50.
Both sides have had their own troubles that have left them way below the standards set by Pirates. Such has been the mediocrity between the two traditional giants that there are reports that the two sides will have new coaches next season..
Kobs captain Brian Asaba admits that his side still rates Heathens as its most formidable rival. “We shall always respect Heathens irrespective of all that,” Asaba told Daily Monitor.
Heathens players and fans have openly indicated that completing a double over Kobs would be the light in what has been a forgettable campaign for both sides.
