KAMPALA.
Heathens began life without vital Phillip Wokorach last Saturday with an easy fixture against Impis.

Wokorach left for Esher, England for a four -month stint and even though his absence might have not been felt against Impis, Mongers, who themselves have a point to prove, will provide a sterner test when they visit Heathens at Kyadondo today.

Wokorach had previously bailed out Heathens notably against Kobs with two important penalties and Pirates with a last gasp try.

Heathens captain Michael Wokorach has admitted that his namesake has left a big void in their roaster considering that there are some big games yet to be played.

“We are going to miss him so much especially in the fullback position and for the kicks because he always nails them, but we have to adapt to playing the reminding games without him,” he told Saturday Monitor.

He is also confident that there is enough depth in the Heathens squad to help them fill the gap left by Wokorach.

“We have back up for his position, so I am sure it won’t be so hard to replace him as we have to do without him before. Two seasons ago we played without him as he was out injured but we managed to win some silverware,” he reasoned.

Elsewhere Kobs are expected to pick up maximum points against Mutoni Warriors while Rhinos face bottom of the league Impis, a side that surprisingly managed to beat them in the first round.
