St Mary’s College Kisubi beat the odds to bring an end to Namilyango College’s five-year stranglehold over them with a 15-0 shock triumph at the latter’s campus on Saturday.

A first half try from captain Ronald Ogwok accompanied by two second half tries from fly half Enoch Tumusiime and Joseph Nsubuga were enough to silence the home crowd as the National Schools Rugby Super 8 League Game Week 3 climaxed. “We know where we went wrong,” said Namilyango coach Emmanuel Walakira.

“We are going to work on one or two things before we face them next weekend in Kisubi.” In Nsangi, Hana School answered their critics by plummeting Kyambogo College 64-5.
