Justin Kimono was in senior two when the Rugby Cranes won the Africa Cup five years ago. Today, he commands cheers almost as loud as those that triumphant team deserves.
The wing, now a first year student at university, will get a chance to pit his skills against the members of that team at Legends Rugby Club, formerly Kampala ground. Kimono and several other selected players will lead teams in a Fun Rugby tournament dubbed “One Night Stand” today.

It will be the second time games are staged under floodlights in Uganda. “It’s an interesting thing,” Kimono said. “I have played under lights before but some of my teammates haven’t.”
