KAMPALA.

Out of their seven league games this season, Rhinos have won four, lost two and drawn one, leaving them fourth on the Nile Special Premiership table.

During their 59-9 loss to Kobs two weeks ago, they looked blunt. But they responded well last week with an outstanding team effort in the 28-17 win against Rams.

Today, they host champions Hima Cement Heathens at Legends in a fixture they won 6-5 last season.

Coach Herbert Wafula has played down last season’s result.
“We should not think things will go like they did last season,” said Wafula. “All we want to do is to play better than we did last week and who knows may be we can beat Heathens again. Anything can happen in this world.”

Heathens have looked sharp and won all their games since their disappointing 17-all stalemate against Black Pirates. Captain Michael Wokorach credits this form to the blending within his ranks.
“We have picked up because the young and old guys have finally gelled well and the structure is paying off,” he said.
Elsewhere, Warriors will be eager to record a second win of the term.
