Winger Amollo on the verge of dream move to Rimula Rhinos

KAMPALA. Betway Kobs winger Michael Amollo has been on Rimula Rhino’s radar for some time now and the deal could finally materialize before the two sides face off in a repeat of last year’s Uganda Cup quarterfinal at Legends RFC tomorrow.
Amollo, an efficient winger would add some gloss to Rhino’s blunt back line that blew hot and cold even with the acquisition of Jasper Onen. With Daudi Semwami on the right wing and Amollo on the left, the side is gifted with more scoring options.

Done deal?
Amollo’s deal might still be in its last stages but the lanky lad is confident nothing is going to stop it and he is already setting his targets at his to be club.
“Actually, I have won everything at Kobs and I want to do the same in Rhinos colours,” he told Daily Monitor.
Rhinos have also brought in David Otwi from Pirates, Stephen Mutaduba from Hippos, Trevor Tumusiime, Arnold Kiiza and Arnold Masanso.
They were labeled ‘money bags’ after big signings of Scot Olwoch, Mathias Ocwo and Onen last season but will only spend on Amollo this time around according to team manager Gordon Rukundo.
“All these players have joined the club on their accord, no money has been spent apart from the Amollo deal we are finalizing,” he observed.
