KAMPALA.

There is still all to play for in the Nile Special University Football League quarterfinal between Gulu and Nkumba Universities.

This is after the two sides played out a goalless draw in the first leg in Gulu on Thursday afternoon.

Gulu will feel more hard done by the result after creating the more clear-cut goal scoring opportunities in the game.

One of only two sides that are yet to concede a goal.
Joseph Nyero wasted a good opportunity to give his side the lead before Nkumba keeper Joseph Yiga blocked his effort.

The forward was also guilty of shooting wide in the second half when through on goal in the second half.

They will however get scant consolation from the fact that they remain one of two teams the other being Kampala University that are yet to lose a game this campaign.

Nkumba meanwhile came into the game having finished second behind Kampala University in Group A with 10 points from five games.

Action continues in a fortnight with the quarterfinal second legs starting with the Makerere- Kyambogo,
UMU-UCU ties.
