Aucho now set to link up with Massa at Baroka

KAMPALA.

After months of speculation including a link at Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers and trials at fellow topflight league club Aberdeen, Khalid Aucho is finally set for a new club.
Latest reports indicate the Uganda Cranes midfielder’s move to South African side Baroka is now a matter of when not if the deal will be completed.

“I applied for his visa and he should be in South Africa by the end of this week,” the player’s agent Geoffrey Kayemba told the Daily Monitor yesterday.

A two year deal is now set to be finalised ahead of the move that will see him link up with national team captain Geoffrey Massa who has also just joined the newly promoted side.

“Yes we are going to make one more signing. That will be our last signing, he is a 22-year-old midfielder. He is an international. If you are a foreigner playing for Baroka you have to be an international. You have to play for your national team,” Baroka Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Morgan Mamilla told South African news outlet Kickoff.
