KAMPALA. At last, Vipers finally let some of their players partake in the Fufa Drum tourney that started yesterday. Buganda Province, that take on Kigezi Province this afternoon in Nyendo-Masaka, are elated to have the scoring services of protagonist Dan Sserunkuma who has so far netted nine league goals.
Along with him came defender Godfrey Wasswa, midfielder Deus Bukenya and striker Pius Wangi.
Buganda coach David Mutono will also bank on the services of experienced players like URA stars Richard Kasagga, Patrick Mbowa, Dickson Kigongo, Shafiq Kagimu and Ethiopia-based forward Robert Ssentongo.

Being the biggest Province (includes Buikwe, Bukomansimbi, Butambala, Buvuma, Gomba, Kalangala, Kalungu, Kayunga, Kiboga, Kyankwanzi, Kyotera, Luweero, Lwengo, Lyantonde, Masaka, Mityana, Mpigi, Mubende, Mukono, Nakaseke, Nakasongola, Rakai, Sembabule, and Wakiso districts) Buganda is odds-on favourite to march to the finals in October to be held in Kasese.

Kigezi will likely be led KCCA versatile forward Paul Mucureezi whose solo effort knocked out CNaPS in the Caf Champions League on Wednesday.
