Like most youth tournaments, selection of the best players at the grand finale of the Chenga Challenge that start in Masaka on Friday will mostly focus on how best players express themselves .
This is in spite of the Shs5m prize that awaits the winners of the City Tyres sponsored event that will feature winners of the 10 respective regional centres.
“We look out for players who can well utilize the basics of football like ball control, dribbling, passing and shooting,” emphasized Eddie Butindo at the launch of the finals at City Tyres head office in Kampala yesterday.

The tournament, split into two groups of five, will have the best two teams from each group qualify for the semifinals and finals the following day. The best player at the tournament which is in its second edition since being revamped will meanwhile get a one year scholarship from the tournament sponsors City Tyres with the losing finalists getting three million shillings.
Kitebi Primary School are the defending champions of the event that was last held in 2012.
