KAMPALA. Every Azam Uganda Premier League club fears the prospect of playing Sadolin at Bugembe stadium.
In search of maximum points to close the widening gap between runaway leaders KCCA (25 points), second-placed Vipers (19) head east determined to put their lives on the line and beat the hosts in today’s epic league tie to cut the six point deficit.

“We know the unplayable turf that Bugembe pitch is but we are ready to suffer and sweat for results on Friday (today),” Vipers head coach Abdallah Mubiru told Daily Monitor yesterday.

“ We used the 4-2-4 formation to beat Jinja SSS in our last league tie at Nakivubo but for the sake of balancing defence and attack away from home, we are going for the counter-attacking 4-3-3 system.

Sadolin are competitive, aggressive and will want to bring an unfriendly style of play to stop us,” he added.
Mubiru will be without injured forward Erisa Ssekisambu, the club’s top scorer, and midfielder Siraje Ssentamu but he hopes Bashir Mutanda and returning William Wadri can fill the void.

Sadolin coach Samadu Musafiri, still flirting with relegation, believes it’s time to get their first win over Vipers in four attempts (two losses and two draws).

“Our strikers; Fred Kyambadde, Norman Ojik, Nasser Muzamir and Andrew Basoma have been impressive in the last four games and I believe they will bleach Vipers feeble defence,” Musafiri said.
