Futsal: Dream in control as Riham tie awaits

By George Katongole

For the first time this season KSPG will do the chasing in the futsal super League.
KSPG and Dream have been the pace setters but the wheels came off KSPG in last week’s surprise 3-3 draw to Park due to slack defending.
Today presents another opportunity when they play unfancied Kabowa. Their key striker Sadiq Ssekyembe promises a quick return to winning ways.
Free scoring Dream, who boast of the lethal attack of Sulaiman Mutyaba and Jamil Kaliisa, face a tough Riham, who are licking wounds after last week’s 6-4 loss to Typhoons.
If Riham hold their forte, the lead at the top could narrow handing KSPG the baton.
“Every team is fighting to beat us and we don’t expect simple games,” Mutyaba, who has 27 league goals said. Elsewhere, an improving Parakeets face Park while hapless Elephants play an unpredictable Bajim.
Action kicks off at 7:00pm at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo.
