What you need to know:

Soccer. The Ugandan league champions are unbeaten in their last four away games and will hope to maintain the good run when they face Cameroon’s Cosmos tonight.

KAMPALA. KCC will hope to maintain their decent away record when they play Cosmos De Bafia in the Caf Champions League preliminary round return leg in Cameroon today.
The Ugandan league champions are unbeaten in their last four away games on the continent with their last defeat coming against Mozambique’s Ferroviário de Maputo in 2009.
KCC lead 1-0 from the first leg courtesy of Herman Wasswa’s strike and captain Saka Mpiima believes they can hold their own against the West African side. “As our recent record shows we have the ability to pick results away from home and we hope that continues,” Mpiima said in the aftermath of the first leg result.
Following a shaky start for new coach Abdallah Mubiru in which they lost two of their first five games, KCC have shown signs of recovery recently, winning the subsequent two league games after the continental tie. The last of those, a 2-0 win over Simba last week, witnessed arguably their best performance in the league this season in which Wasswa and strike partner derrick Nsibambi got onto the score sheet.
They are up against a Cosmos side making its debut on the continent and has lost twice and drawn once in its opening three league games this season.
Back home, the Uganda Premier League resumed on Friday with all five scheduled games taking place after clubs called off their strike.
Veteran Vincent Kayizzi stretched Vipers’ unbeaten run to 16 games with the game’s only goal against Sadolin as the Buikwe-based side moved second on 38 points and a point behind leaders Villa.
