Mbarara. After coming face-to-face with the jaws of relegation, Mbarara City have left no stone unturned in an ambitious effort to have a much-better second season in the Uganda Premier League.
Former Onduparaka coach Livingstone Mbabazi has been handed the reigns while the club have also lured free-agent Paul Mucureezi, formerly at KCCA.
But the changes do not stop there.

The club unveiled 10 players and a board of 12 who will be tasked with taking the team to a new level.
“This is the time we forgot about what happened last season and focussed our eyes on this coming season,” club chairman Mwine Mpaka told Daily Monitor.

“I pray so much that the media work with us very well because you are the ones who make us who we are even though our biggest job is on the pitch,”’ Mbabazi added.
Last season, Mbarara City finished 11th on the table, just three places above relegation.
