KAMPALA- As Vipers count the cost of property destroyed by Villa fans on Saturday during their league clash at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende, Vipers president Lawrence Mulindwa vowed to deal with the individuals that were involved in the act.
At a press conference called at the stadium yesterday morning, a furious Mulindwa vowed to not to let such incidents occur again at the facility in addition to imploring Police and Fufa to bring the culprits to book.

“What happened should be condemned in the strongest terms. We have watched matches where officiating was really poor but this does not happen. When I look at my friends Villa it is going beyond,” Mulindwa begun citing last season’s second round game against KCCA.”
“They stole referees clothes but nothing was done. I have reliable information they planned the chaos during the last training. Initially they planned to reject the entrance fees and storm the field but failed,” explained Mulindwa.

Former Villa treasurer Omar Mandela quit the club in 2003 over entrance fees a theme that has become a common occurrence over the years.
“I told them I tried to put up something that can be beneficial to Ugandan football you have been in existence for so many years but you go to Villa Park and see if you will find even a pit latrine. And it is you the media who keep saying they are a big club.”
“They were also chased from Namboole because of hooliganism. It is on record. Now they have moved to Masaka they are like measles.”
“They went down and destroyed the water system at half time they removed all toilet papers and beat up the ladies who were cleaning the toilets. Those very uncivilised fans. It seems their intention was to burn down the stadium. They threw bottles of urine in the VIP section. Now that is beyond a rivalry,” Mulindwa fumed.
The Vipers president then went ahead to vow he would not let a similar act happen at the stadium that is situated at St. Mary’s Kitende school.
“I want to assure you that madness isn’t going to happen again. Onduparaka came here and did what they did. Let another team also come and destroy property. I have an area where we can keep them at the stadium, a Nalufenya of this side,” he stated amidst laughter.
“This is a private facility. You pay Shs10,000 and cause chaos I will throw you out.

I know these idiots there is this one who stays in Nsambya, Tito and Lutaaya who works in a garage.
Let Fufa deal with Villa I have no authority over them but I am going to deal with these individuals,” he went on. Mulindwa whose team returns to league action away to Masavu today stated the club was still evaluating the cost of the damages made to the stadium opened early this year.
