KAMPALA:

Nkana Coach Masautso Mwale has revealed that having no clue about what to expect from KCCA proved costly as his side were held to a 2-all draw by the Uganda outfit in the first leg.

The two meet tomorrow in the Caf Champions League first round return leg at Namboole with Mwale confident his side can progress at KCCA’s expense.
The Zambian team held their first training session yesterday morning at Lugogo since arriving on Wednesday evening.

“I am confident we can get a result because we know what to expect from KCCA now unlike last week,” he said. “They benefited from that but we come here with a positive attitude ready to do what it takes to go through, he stated after the session.”

The coach also believes there were positives to be picked from his side despite conceding two goals at home.

“It is always good for a team to create chances and if we convert the chances we create I am sure we shall be able to qualify,” he said assuredly.

KCCA, meanwhile, received further boost yesterday after defender Habib Kavuma completed full training for the first time this week after suffering a knee injury in the first leg.
