FT: Zimbabwe 0-0 Uganda. It ends goalless and Uganda will stay top of Group B with four points. The Cranes will progress to the last eight if with a draw in their final group match on Monday. Morocco (one point) and Burkina Faso (no point), the other Group B teams, face off later tonight. From us at Daily Monitor, till then.

Four minutes of injury time added. Can we find a winner?

07:29pm

Uganda's second sub: Nicholas Wadada makes his first appearance at the championship, replacing Julius Ntambi at right back

Uganda 0-0 Zimbabwe. Still nothing to separate the sides and if it stays this way, the Cranes will stay top of Group B on four points and will be in pole position to make the last eight. Zimbabwe sub: Off is Simba, Masimba Mambare comes on. Uganda make their last sub. striker Simon Okwi comes on for Francis Olaki

07:16pm

And Uganda's first shot on target for Uganda is produced from an Isaac Muleme free kick but it is comfortable saving for George Chigova

07:13pm

Another brilliant goalkeeping by Ochan after Ntambi is beaten on the left. Zim should have scored. They must score if they are to stay meaningful chances of progression. And Cranes win a corner the other end.

Zimbabwe clear and break but Simba could not head home with only goalkeeper to beat. They may live to rue this chance

07:01pm

54' Zimbabwe sub: ON: Nelson Maziwisa OFF: Donald Ngoma

Yellow card: Uganda's Julius Ntambi booked for a shirt tag on KUDAKWASHE MAHACHI

HT: Uganda 0-0 Zimbabwe

06:43pm

Oh my! What a weird kick from Sentamu! A ballinto the box and Guma heads on to Sentamu, and the striker's kick wildly goes out for a throw in

06:38pm

Cranes midfielder Hassan Wasswa stretchered off injured. we await to see if it is serious as Zimbabwe push forward

Wasswa, having come back on, is again down reeling in pain having been challenged by a Zimbabwe defender. Meanwhile Guma is challenged, rather legitimately, and the referee waves play on. Five minutes into half time and there is still nothing to separate the sides. Wasswa is back up

06:36pm

Uganda slowly trying to get into the game with Zimbabwe having hogged much of the possession. Hassan Wasswa wins possession in the middle, teeing skipper Denis Guma, who slides the ball to Yunus Sentamu but the Vipers striker is shut out. It is a relatively quiet Sentamu from the one that punished Burkina Faso with a brace last Sunday.

06:20pm

Zimbabwe continue to pressure Uganda. Corner to the Warriors but it is cleared away by the Cranes. The score remains goalless at Athlon Stadium

06:10pm

Coach Ian Gorowa's side, however, need to win this game to stay in with realistic chances of progressing having drawn their opener goalless with Morocco.

The two sides prior today had faced off 13 times, with Uganda winning 4 and Zimbabwe 2. They shared spoils in the other seven.

It remains goalless but with Zimbabwe showing more intent in attack. The Cranes are being limited to absorbing the Warriors pressure

JERSEY UPDATE: Strange Uganda are donning a black jersey today. Zimbabwe, as a home team, elected to wear yellow, meaning the Cranes should have put on their traditional red, yellow or white.

06:08pm

Uganda go into this game topping Group B with three points having beaten Burkina Faso 2-1 in the opening match. Should the Cranes prevail over the Zimbabwe Warriors, they will become the first team to make the last eight.
