KAMPALA.

URA today return to league action for the first time since being knocked out of the Caf Confederations Cup on Saturday by South Africa’s Orlando Pirates.

The tax collectors have endured a disappointing fortnight in which they were also ejected from Uganda Cup by KCC. With a trophy-less season looking more likely, the Lugazi-based side are vowing to make the most of the remainder of the season.

“We shall use the Pirates game as motivation, try to win all our remaining games and then see what happens,” midfielder Yassar Mugerwa told Daily Monitor yesterday but evaded talk about his club’s league title chances. URA are currently fourth on 34 points with Villa, their opponents today, eight points ahead in second.
Leaders Vipers are on 49 points. In the day’s other games, Express host Sadolin Paints at Wankulukuku while Bright Stars visit Bul at Kakindu in Jinja.
