KAMPALA.

Full time at Nakivubo stadium on Saturday was interesting as the game.

A 2-2 result in which Lweza came from two goals down to draw with SC Villa in one of two Azam Uganda Premier League fixtures on the day.
The result moved SC Villa a point behind KCCA on 36 points after 18 games but more importantly lost two valuable points having played two games more than the table leaders.

For SC Villa fans however, this was an opportunity too to make their voice heard after club president Ben Misagga had given head coach Shafik Bisaso a one match ultimatum to win or face the sack.
Waving placards in favour of Bisaso throughout the match and more fervently thereafter, many of the club’s fans made their opinions known by vowing not to allow associate coach Wasswa Bbosa take charge of the team.

In an interesting turn of events, Villa president Misagga yesterday made a dramatic a reversal by declaring Bisaso would still be in charge ahead of the club’s next game against Sadolin on Sunday and probably throughout the rest of the season.

“He will stay in charge but that does not mean that the fans had a say in my decision. Everyone has to take responsibility for their decisions, the players and the coaches too. I thought the enforced changes before the game had a say in the game ,” he laboured to explain thereafter.

Villa were forced to start with a largely makeshift backline of Ibrahim Kiyemba and Bernard Muwanga following suspensions of center backs Henry Katongole and Paul Mboowa.

After goals from Emmanuel Okwi and Alex Kitatta, a complacent Villa team was pegged back by goals from Rajab Kakooza and Owen Kasule following assists from the impressive substitute Charles Ssempa.
