A perfect place for unwinding

What you need to know:

However, although the waitresses are decently dressed (which is not the case with most bars), their service is not that shift

Saturday evening saw me mixing and mingling with high end people at the Mbuya-based night spot, Zone 7. If you are the type that likes loud music, this hangout is definitely not your type. The beautiful serene, coupled with a chilly breeze on top of Mbuya hill, makes the evening one for relaxing and unwinding stress.
The giant screen in the outside setting screened the Uganda Cranes against Ghana Match. As I sipped on my cold beer in a glass that came with ice cubes which cost me Shs5,000, I rubbed shoulders with some of the finest girls in the ‘hood’ (of course when I was taking my seat I had to scan through a place of clustered football fanatics just to locate some fine cuties).
The washrooms are so clean that I kept going in every hour just to empty my not-so-full bladder and oh, there is a condom machine too. So if you go to this joint with hopes of getting ‘lucky’ at the end of the night, this condom machine will surely do you good since all one has to do is insert a Shs500 coin to get a packet.
After the game, Qwela Band played a lot of Zouk music which got most corporates nodding to this fine music. The vocalists were in sync with the instrumentalists.
However, although the waitresses are decently dressed (which is not the case with most bars), their service is not that shift. One has to wait for quite some time to be served. It is not like they are overwhelmed by the number of orders, I think they are just slow!
