I went to town to accomplish some work for the office in the morning with hardly anything in my stomach. It clocked 1pm and I still hadn’t eaten since I was busy. I decided to go to any eatery round town.

I chanced to see a sign post attached to Cham Towers from the lower side next to Nkrumah Road, “Maggie’s corner”. I felt relieved as I approached the place. I was warmly welcomed by a smile from the neat waitress who calmly led me to a sitting. She greeted me and asked, ‘your order sir?’

while passing me the menu. Despite the heat and exhaustion I felt, and I smiled back and told her I wanted “all food” and meat which cost 5000shs plus a soft drink at Shs1500. She quickly shook her head and told me to wait for a minute.

Within a few minutes, she came back with a dish well laid with my food, still wearing the same smile. The eatery was a bit crowded with clients who has the look of satisfaction on their faces. I too left the place pondering on how their service was really overwhelming.
