Foods to turn on your world

By Henry Wanyama

You have heard the saying that a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. While that may be true, it doesn’t stop there. The right foods can rev you both up by boosting your bedroom stamina. So, set the dinner table, and whet your appetite for each other with a date night meal made from these arousing ingredients.

Honey: Sweet and sticky, honey is loaded with all kinds of benefits like vitamin B to aide in the production of various sex hormones. It may also help stimulate blood flow, which may facilitate sensation. No wonder the word “honeymoon” is rumoured to come from , a delicious wine made from fermented honey which was given to lovers to aid in arousal.

Bananas: The nutrients in this fruit keep you full of fuel, while the potassium, magnesium, and Vitamin B in this fruit helps with nerve functioning. She will go bananas over you.

Avocados: One of the world’s sexiest foods (think about it: the fruit’s flesh is seductively silky and smooth to the touch and on the tongue). It has long been heralded as an aphrodisiac. The green stuff is rich in vitamins K and E. Plus, its an excellent source of vitamin B6 to increase male hormone production, and potassium to regulate a woman’s thyroid gland. Avocado boosts libido. You will go a whole 9 yards.

Nuts: In general, nuts are very high in the amino acid, arginine, which is a precursor of nitric oxide in the body. Nitric oxide allows for our blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow throughout our body (including blood flow to genital area).

Asparagus: A great source of vitamin E is involved in stimulating the production of sex hormones, which then prompts an increase in sex drive for both men and women.

Chocolate: It contains phenylethylamine which helps to release dopamine, which in turn stimulates the production of the “cuddle hormone,” known as oxytocin. Indulge in dark chocolate 75 per cent or higher, as it contains more antioxidant potency and less sugar.
It is advisable that you set up your partner with a supply of the above atleast 3 days prior.
