Hot stuffy evirons and wanting food

What you need to know:

BEYRON RESTAURANT. While this location in itself is bad enough, matters are not helped by the incessant expelling of hot air from the air conditioners from either side of the corridor

Location, location and location is the common mantra that prevails when one thinks of opening any worthwhile eating joint. Admittedly, determining the best location is not as easy as getting the concept right. Speaking of which, for years’ street floor location was deemed to be sine qua non-but with the astronomical and stratospheric rents that obtain in places such as Manhattan in the Big Apple this is proving to be workable.
Here back home, we have not yet reached that critical stage though in the not too distant future don’t be surprised if this trend becomes the accepted norm than otherwise.
It goes without saying that with location goes ambience, comfort, menu choice as well as the quality of service and food. The best location with none of the above would simply never fly. For those of you who have intentions of setting up shop; as the saying goes forewarned is forearmed.

Miscalculation
The idea of a corridor serving as a venue for a restaurant can work in a busy shopping mall, and there are many such establishments in existence, but when you take an incomplete building of a would-be shopping mall and decide to set up a restaurant, such as the case with Beyron, all one can say is that this is a recipe for disaster. On the other hand, and to be fair, considering how much the owners invested, there are far better locations that would have been more practical and workable.

Poor environs
While the food at Beyron restaurant leaves a lot to be desired, even more uninspiring is the location. Why anyone would choose a location of an eating establishment plum in the middle of a huge cavernous corridor is really a no brainer. While this location in itself is bad enough, matters are not helped by the incessant expelling of hot air from the air conditioners from either side of the corridor where Tropical Bank and the UBA are located resulting in a very hot and stuffy condition that is bound to turn off any serious would-be diner.

False hope
The food is nothing to write home about with emphasis on the local runners that one would expect from such a joint though for no clear discernable reason, despite pizza being on the menu the couple of times that we dined there during lunch it turned out to be a missing item.
The single waitress was of no great help and certainly should have been in a uniform and at the very least had on an apron. The furniture is tacky and cheap and all in Beyron has a derelict sense about it as evidenced by the few patrons who were around.
