Singer Irene Ntale has quit Swangs Avenue record label for reasons yet to be known.

The “sembera” singer, who has been with Swangs Avenue for the past four years, used her official Facebook page to break the news.

“My dearest Fans and friends, they say time flies, and today seems like one of those days when one takes it in stride to announce that after a lot of contemplation, I am officially departing from Swangz Avenue.”

She also said that her intentions are well known by the record label and that they both came to an understanding before she left.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Swangz Avenue for the knowledge and experience I have gained there. I am truly grateful for the time I have spent with the team along with the musical and professional relationships I have built. I believe both Swangz Avenue and I have enjoyed a remarkable partnership,” She said.

Swangz Avenue is responsible for Irene Ntale’s limelight after they signed her off a karaoke stage in one of Kampala’s hangouts and delivered her to the country’s music stage with songs like; ‘Nkubukinze’, ‘Gyobela’, ‘Go down’ and ‘Kabugo’ among others.

Last year, the label organised Irene’s first maiden concert at Sheraton Hotel and it was ranked one of the best organised concert of the year.

The musician however, promised to continue working hard, give the best she can to her fans and also continue to consolidate her presence in the Industry, within Uganda and beyond.
