Steak out, a hangout that was located on Lumumba Avenue used to be the place to be for every bar hopper until it unceremoniously closed about two years ago. Late last year, the bar was re-opened as Zodiac, but perhaps because of management issues, it closed just after a few months. On Friday, Zodiac re-opened its doors.

Entrance to the Friday do was Shs15,000 and revellers started coming in at about 11pm. The red carpet event attracted celebrities, socialites and media personalities who came to be a part of the do.

The biggest and most exciting performance of the night was from long lost singer Maddox Ssematimba who performed backed by a live band. He sang songs like Namagembe, Ndabirawa and Nakatudde among others as the excited show goers sang along and danced with him.

The other performances were from A Pass and Cindy who replaced Sheebah Karungi, the artiste who was booked to perform in the first place until she had a misunderstanding with the management as she claimed not to have received the Shs1.2m that Zodiac allegedly paid for her survices.

There was also some rib cracking comedy from Patrick Salvador Idringi who nowadays prefers to call himself Man from Ombokolo because of his upcoming one man comedy show.
The event was climaxed by DJ Global who played mostly Ugandan music throughout the night.
