TPF contestants all on probation

On Sunday, TPF 6 returned with a live probation show. With nearly two weeks left to the end of the entire show, competition is getting tighter. The hosts, Mich and Joey had a twist in the whole show making it more of a narrative.

Opening the show was Uganda’s song bird Daisy singing Michael Jackson’s mega hit Bad, going through her notes and giving the song the right amount of energy. Matching her strong vocals with great dance moves, Daisy really did the song ‘bad’.

The other remaining Ugandan in the contest, Kojjo, performed If I Could Change the World by Eric Clapton. He played his part to perfection and sang like the song was made for him. Closing the song very beautifully, Kojjo got a great applause from the crowd.

Judge Ian thought that Daisy was clumsy and under-rehearsed and found Kojjo rather boring. Judge Juliana pointed out that Daisy went off key when she sang the chorus and that Kojjo either forgot his lyrics and or lost the plot of the song. Principal Eric spoke in Daisy’s defence that it was a difficult song pitched for a man and she did alright on it. He also defended Kojjo despite his forgetting lines in the song.

After the show, all contestants were put on probation without a definite reason. All of them will be relying on the fate of East Africa. Two must be booted from the academy this Saturday and others will stay. The question is who leaves and who stays?
