What you need to know:

The first eviction show left Kenya and Uganda one contestant less.

The first live eviction show of project fame on Saturday saw our overrated Undercover Brothers getting booted.

They put up a not-so-convincing performance of The Commodores’ Sail On, which Judges Juliana, Ian and Hermes thought was below par and that the brothers needed to work on their harmonies and should have listened to each other.

Then eviction time came. The viewers had voted for Bior. The faculty chose to save Fess because he came out very strong and fixed the mistakes he made over the week. And finally the contestants had to pick one. They voted in different directions with The Undercover Brothers getting three votes and Mishel getting three votes as well. However, Jennifer was saved by the majority of the contestants, getting four votes at the end of the show. Undercover Brothers and Mishel’s dreams of bagging the Shs150m grand prize were shattered since they were evicted.

Probation show
Kojjo, dressed in the most laid back look of the night sang Please Don’t Make Me Cry by UB40.

Kojjo gave a performance that was subtle, laid back and powerful that earned him positive remarks from Judge Juliana who thought his song was a beautiful choice and that he had a powerful performance.

Sitenda performed Don’t Know Why by Norah Jones. The song matched her sultry vocals. Dressed in a peach floor length gown, the Ugandan stronghold once again delivered. Coach Kavutha was glad Sitenda internalised the song and knew how to perform appropriately.

Daisy had an outstanding performance of John Legend’s If You’re Out There. She expressed her vocal prowess in a powerful and stirring way which got many people in the audience out of their seats.
