Bell bottoms are back

You will need high shoes to keep your bell bottoms off the ground, preferably wedges.

Remember the time when the skinny jeans became a hit about four years ago? Everyone took on the new trend, and the one thing that suffered the most was the bell bottom. Yes, those wide legged pants that were a big fashion obsession in the 1970s and 1980s.

Well, thanks to fashion, the big old times are back, and this time, I hope they are here to stay. Like I have said before, I like a trend that you can be able to switch into different looks, without losing the idea that you want.

And this is exactly what the bell bottoms do for you. You can wear them in denims, dress pants, printed pants, and even casual pants. All the while matching your pants with fitting tops, to complete.

Now, the one accessory you need to pay attention to are the shoes. These pants are usually way too long at the helm, so you may need to wear some shoes that have your legs raised so that you don’t soil your pants, or keep dragging them in the dust.

Blending it with current trends

In some circles, the bell bottoms are out of fashion, so, you will have to be very careful when you wear them so that you don’t come off looking like a hit from the past.

In order to achieve this, match your bell bottoms with current trends like cropped tops, trench coats, chiffon tops or jazzy prints like Aztec and tribal. If your bell bottoms are high waist, then tuck in your top, and add a little belt.

Also, stick to a little bag to match this look. I would recommend the boy channel. Be ready to rob a bank though for this one; it will cost quite a bit. And one last thing; keep your top as fitting as possible. Nothing flared will work here.
