Floral trousers
This trend comes from the 1980’s, when our mothers used to wear those hippie-inspired bottoms.
The flowers are blooming, this time round on our pants. Floral was a trend prediction for 2015, and if you have not caught on yet, this is your cue. Here are a few tips on how to wear these;
Toughen up the floral: If you are not really into floral pants because they look too girly, add a loose-fitting T-shirt and maybe a pair of wedge sneakers and own the trend. Still unsure?
Keep it simple: Make an effortless look of this trend. Choose a pair of basic Capri floral pants and paired it with a simple sheer top to make a perfect weekend look.
Make it work-appropriate: If you love floral pants but are worried about whether they work at the office, add a basic black blazer and a chic pair of black pumps, and voila, you have a work-appropriate look.
Fear not the accessories: The funfair of flowers can be enough, but do not shy away from accessorising, as long as you do not overdo it. Use a pearl necklace, some bracelets, or a solid-colour purse.
