She made a move on me and left me awestruck

It is always an unforgettable experience when a girl makes the first move on you. If you are a man and it has never happened to you, well, you have missed out on one of the rare gifts of life. Unless, of course, you are one of those people who believe life should be endured, and not lived. Anyway, it is not your fault no girl has hit on you yet, and even better do not take it so hard, it is not as thrilling as it sounds. In fact, it can be a terrifying experience.
My most recent experience was more confusing than anything else because even after it happened, I still thought it was an elaborate joke. See, this was one of those girls that somehow always seem to be out of everyone’s league, at least those present. So, you will hang out with her, but you know there must be a man in the picture somewhere, and she is contented with him because she always seems so fulfilled. And besides, you do not even want to believe that that girl is actually single. Yes, it was that kind of girl. We run into each other three times, once at a party and twice in a bar.
Always stylishly dressed, I could only marvel at the style she exuded. And I would calm my dear heart, telling it that famous line about good girls always being taken. For someone with her looks, her quick wit, and easy going nature, I was pretty sure there was someone, some man, even though she had never given me any reason to think so.
Then one day, she rang me. I did not even recognise her voice because I did not think she had my phone number. Hell, I did not have her number. She toyed with me for a few seconds as I racked my brain trying to locate her. Then eventually, she told me she would only tell me who she was if I agreed to take her out for coffee.
I would have taken her for coffee even if she had not told me to, just to satisfy my curiosity. But we agreed, and the date was on. I got there first, an hour earlier. I do not like to be surprised. Then at exactly 6pm, I saw this other girl walking in, the classy girl. My first thought was, ‘and we run into each other again...’ And I was curious to see who she was here to meet with, at least that would give me a clue to the man who held her heart.
But then she looked around, saw me, and made a beeline for my table. And still, I was disconnected from the reality that this might be the same person I was here to meet. She arrived at my table, looked at me for some time, smiled, pulled herself a chair and sitting down said, ‘you seem to be waiting for someone..’.
I said yes, and in that instant realised she could be the one. And I said: “Wait a minute, is it. Are you... no way..!” I was speechless with confusion and disbelief. She just sat there, watching me and smiling. When I was dine stuttering, she said, “yes Eugene, I am the one. Are you disappointed?” I was already saying ‘no, no’ even before she was through with the sentence. And that marked the start of a new relationship which, while very brief, was unforgettable mostly because she was the driver, the man in the relationship.

“Wait a minute, is it. Are you... no way..!” I was speechless with confusion and disbelief. She just sat there, watching me and smiling. When I was done stuttering, she said, “yes Eugene, I am the one. Are you disappointed?”
