Whoever attended the Pearl Rhythm Festival at the National Theatre last Saturday would appreciate the mastery and professionalism exhibited by participating artistes and instrumentalists.

The sound system was perfect for play of instruments, stage was well lit and this gave artistes a chance to groove to their creativity.

Watmon Cultural Troupe from Acholi kicked off the evening’s performance with their traditional dances giving revellers a warm setting to wait for other performances. Elvis Kabwondera from Kigezi sub-region proved he is master on his Ennaga while Charles Obina played Adungu to perfection. Raymond Parwot blended rock and country music with his guitar.

The Undercover Brothers as always did not disappoint before Clarissa Nabulime came on stage to give a fascinating performance with her energetic voice and strong backup singers. The audience was on their feet with some dancing to her sweet melodic tunes. The production team did themselves proud, for what was really a superb show that ended few minutes to midnight.
