Halle Berry is the latest and probably not the last of the Hollywood’s big fish to make the jump from movies to television. With good writing and big budgets, the allure of television has become too enticing for the movie industry’s big wigs to resist. In the past, this was unheard of as television was considered the small leagues.

In this production, the Academy award winner stars as astronaut Molly Woods, a woman who returns home pregnant after 13 months on a solo mission into space. This is rather peculiar as there is no contact with another human during this point in time. Her husband on the other hand is a robotics engineer looking to advance his research into the field following his success with his prototype android that they now call their son. Furthermore, the corporation she works for seems to have taken a rather unique interest in her activities. This array of events seems to promise so much in terms of story building but only time will tell if the show can deliver in that regard.

The show may borrow its plot line from several other shows that have gone before it but in Halle Berry, they have a strong lead whose impeccable acting ability cannot be questioned. The show may still be in its formative stage but from the little available, it is definitely worth checking out.
