Audi Q7 2018- Luxury redefined

Audi has always graced the market with amazing and luxurious cars and the 2018 Audi Q7, a luxury midsize SUV is no exception.

Performance
The luxurious car handles remarkably well for its size. Producing 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, it remains stable around turns. That is made even better with its quick steering which gives the SUV a responsive, lightweight feel. Besides that, its brakes lend it strong stopping power, making it equally safe.

The Q7 boasts of either a turbo-four or a standard-four V6 engine and whizzes from zero to 60mph in only six seconds. While the standard-four produces power enough to move through town with ease, it gets overwhelmed at high speeds, unlike the turbo-four engine.

Both engines have an 8-speed automatic transmission with either manual or automatic mode and provide smooth and prompt gear changes. While the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder is only a standard engine, one has the option of getting the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that supplies 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque.This grand SUV is also an all-wheel drive.

Interior
It is a three-row vehicle with seven seats and offers great driving space owing to the wide range of steering wheel and seat adjustments. The front seats are supportive and offer ample head and legroom. The room is also available in the second row and thus ideal for adults. However, the third row has limited space hence ideal for children.

Its cabin comes with exquisite materials such as metal accents, slick wood, soft-touch plastics and well-padded surfaces while the dashboard is simply yet elegant.
The 14.8 cubic feet of cargo space is found behind its third-row seats, and increases to 37.5 cubic feet when these seats are folded, and 71.6 cubic feet with the second row folded as well.

Standard features include heated front seats, power folding third row seats and leather upholstery. However, you may incorporate add-ons such as heated rear seats, massaging front seats, ventilated front seats, rear sunshades and a heated steering wheel.

Features
It comes with a user friendly MMI infotainment system having sharp graphics, simple menus and responds promptly to inputs. The screens range from 7-inch in base models to 8.3-inch in navigation equipped models. Most of its functionalities are controlled by buttons and knobs found on the control console, although the air conditioner is managed using independent buttons and dial found on the dashboard.

It also boasts of a highly configurable 12.3-inch virtual cockpit. This digital gauge cluster seamlessly blends navigation information with infotainment functions and driving speed.

Standard features are a 7-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth, two USB ports, satellite radio, a CD player, and 10 speakers. These could be augmented with a tri-zone automatic climate control, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, a power tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof.

In Navigation equipped models, you will find an 8.3-inch screen, a navigation system, a touchpad, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 19- or 23-speaker stereos, a head-up display, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and two 10-inch touch screens for rear seat passengers. The experience can be made better with add-ons such as a quad-zone climate control, a hands-free power tailgate, and power soft-closing doors.

Safety
Its standard safety features include rearview camera, low speed forward collision warning with brake assist (Audi pre-sense city) and front and rear parking sensors.

However, if you need more security features, you can also get add-ons such as lane keep assist, 360-degree parking camera system, full-speed forward collision warning with brake assist, night vision camera, automatic high-beam headlights, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and traffic sign recognition.
