Kaymu, an online shopping website, on Wednesday evening launched a tutelage campaign dubbed ‘Kaymu Varsity’ that aims at providing sellers in Uganda with the skills and tools necessary to start selling online with little up-front investment.
The program comprises of six sessions which cover the basics of operating the website and the application, order processing, payment methods, logistics, social media strategy and the seller centre.
Neville Igasira, the public relations manager says that the study sessions will covers receiving in-depth information about the subjects covered. “Sellers will be taught how to upload new stock, activating discounts on their products and swift customer care. Participants also have the opportunity to ask any questions they might have about the platform,” Igasira adds.
This e-commerce has veered to be a platform for sole entrepreneurs in down town to market their products and have those clients that hate shopping in downtown access their products.
