From September 5 to 9, merrymakers flocked Nile Discovery Beach in Njeru, Buikwe District for the annual Nyege Nyege festival. The event aims at celebrating Ugandan culture and African music through art and dance.

The sense of style was hard to miss with most revellers opting for a street style kind of look. A number of women wore shorts while others opted for pants made of different material including denim.

The shorts and pants were worn with all sorts of tops. Some revellers opted to wear their outfits with trendy sneakers and complemented their entire looks with fashion accessories like caps, sunglasses, crossbags, among other accessories.

It was also interesting to see how some foreigners chose the African designed outfits and jewellery.
All said and done, the festival was not just a celebration of music and dance, but also, a fashion affair.
