I never skip breakfast

Although previously I was reluctant to take care of myself, I got a wakeup call when I started feeling fatigued all the time and getting constant headaches.

Because my work schedule forces me to wake up very early in the morning, I always feel tired and sleepy. I, therefore, take a lot of water which helps me to stay awake and hydrated, reducing the appearance of tiredness.

Since it is the most important meal of the day, I never skip breakfast. I try as much as possible to include most of the nutrients needed such as proteins and carbohydrates and also eat a banana and an apple every morning. Due to an allergic reaction to some of the ingredients, I do not drink tea, coffee or milk so I prefer taking orange juice and fruits throughout the day.

For the first time in my life I started working out last week because I needed to keep fit and was tired of panting each time I took the stairs to office but to also maintain my body size and feel good about myself.

I exercise for one hour every day. I do sit ups, weights, pushups, squats, running, the bike and stair master depending on the day. I also started going to the sauna and I must say it has done wonders for my skin and general glow.

For food, I keep eating small portions because sometimes I do not have the time to sit and enjoy a whole meal but for all the foods I eat they must have meat. However, although I love meat, I always measure the amount I eat in a day.

Medication
I always go for a medical checkup however small the problem might seem. I also avoid reckless behaviour such drinking alcohol that might leave me susceptible to getting diseases such as HIV/Aids and I encourage other young people to do the same.

I avoid self-medication and the only time I will take a painkiller is when I get my period because I suffer immense pain.
