I do not eat fatty foods

What you need to know:

  • To keep my skin glowing, I steam my face twice a month. I also apply a lemon and honey mask which keeps the skin fresh, smooth and wrinkle-free.

Vivian Kitone is a mother of one who has managed to keep in shape by monitoring what she does for her health and wellbeing.
I start my day with a cup of warm water and a banana at 7am, which takes me up to 10am when I have my breakfast. This normally comprises bread and an egg for carbohydrates and proteins. I however do not eat this on a daily basis. I interchange with fruits and also other healthier options such as porridge. Eating bread everyday caused me to have constipation so now I only eat it twice a week.

I avoid eating fatty foods by not frying my food and if I am to eat out, I eat boiled food. In case I indulge in eating junk or fried food, I drink a lot of warm water to help me regulate the fats. This has also been the secret behind my ever glowing skin.
However, other than monitoring my diet, I work out on a daily basis. I do squats, lunges, kick backs, sit ups and skipping. However, I rotate these out per day to avoid doing them all at once.

My face
To keep my skin glowing, I steam my face twice a month. I also apply a lemon and honey mask which keeps the skin fresh, smooth and wrinkle-free. However tired I am, I never sleep with makeup on. I ensure I wash my face thoroughly with warm water to help me open up the pores.

Medical checkups
I have a personal doctor I normally consult for all my medial issues. I do a retina medical checkup every after six months and for simple infections such as flu or cough, I take a mixture of ginger, lemon and honey.
