Is it true?

I want to know whether the statement human beings are born crying, live complaining, and die unsatisfied is true and scientific. Kumar

Dear Kumar
Crying at birth helps expand the baby’s lungs and expel mucus and water from their airway and lungs to aid breathing.
Therefore, the first cry much as most people take it to be due to expectations of the suffering a new born is likely to face in its lifetime, it is part of the health assessment at birth given in what is called Apgar score.

Crying at birth is not a result of pain from cutting the cord and a good cry means the new born is in good health.
Crying much later after birth then can happen as a baby’s way of communicating some discomfort or pain due to hunger, coldness, heat, abdominal colics, wet bed, need to be held and any disease condition that causes discomfort including a fever.
