Make lampshades out of plastics
For lovers of handcrafts, this is the simplest it gets. We live in communities where empty plastic bottles are almost everywhere, but there is a lot more we can do to not only add value, but save the environment as well.
To make a lamp shade out of an empty plastic bottle, all you need is a plastic rope, adhesive gum, an empty plastic bottle and a sharp knife.
First, make sure the plastic bottle is clean. After this, remove any product labels, if any so as to have a clean and neat product.
After this, cut the plastic bottle into two parts, making sure that the upper part is longer than the lower part because it is the upper part that we shall be using.
Having done that, cut off the mouth of the bottle, where the bottle top seats so that the opening is wider to accommodate the bulb.
Carefully hold the plastic rope and put a reasonable measure of adhesive and role it around the upper part of the plastic bottle from the top to bottom. Leave your creation to dry.
After drying, carefully remove your bulb from the lamp holder and place the lamp shade onto it, before carefully putting your bulb back again, and you will be good to go.
These lamp shades are ideal for suspended bulbs that hung in the air.
